By and for herbalists

All our products are made in-house from the materials you want with the standards you care about. Our tinctures are made from fresh plants with a 1:2 w:v strength and the menstruum blend best suited to each plant; using classic cold maceration before mechanical pressing. While all of our products are for topical use ONLY, we recognize that “cosmetic grade” regulations in the United States are unsatisfactory and overly permissive; so we only use food- or USP-grade alcohols and oils in our products to ensure pure, consistent quality.

Funding from Lightning Gap Farm & Botanical LLC is shared with our sister project Appalachian Rhizomes to provide education and herb sourcing as well as medicinal plant seeds and starts to grassroots community-led health initiatives across the US.
