About the program

We are proud to support sliding scale carework by offering discounted pricing to sliding scale herbalists, other careworkers, and their clients.

A “sliding scale” is a tool used by all kinds of different service providers to increase the financial accessibility of their services. Rather than charging a set rate, sliding scale service providers charge clients based on their ability to pay. In support of this practice, we provide professional herbalists and other careworkers who charge sliding scale rates with unique discount codes to use themselves and share with their clients. Other careworkers may include but are not limited to: Doulas, bodyworkers, therapists, and professional peer supporters.

The sliding scale careworker discount is not a wholesale discount. Please reach out to us for wholesale inquiries!

For safety and ethical reasons, we do not offer kickbacks/commission for purchases made using sliding scale careworker discount codes.

Using your Discount code

If you were given a discount code by your herbalist or careworker, it will work on any of the herbal products in our store. Shop as normal and input your code at checkout to receive your discount.

Sliding Scale Careworker discounts cannot be combined with other offers. Art and Gift items are excluded. Sliding scale careworker discount codes found to be shared publicly (e.g. on social media or on services like honey, retailmenot, etc) will be deactivated.

Joining The Program

If you are a sliding scale professional herbalist or other sliding scale careworker, you can apply to get your sliding scale careworker discount by filling out the form here.

You will need:

• Your name
• A suitable email address to receive your code
• Your practice name (if applicable)
• Links to any internet or social media presences associated with your practice (if applicable)
• A brief description of what kind of work you do, who you work with, and the parameters of your sliding scale

We will respond to inform you of your acceptance status, or request any additional information. If you are accepted into the program, we will provide you with a unique discount code to use for yourself and share with your clients. For those who primarily see clients face-to-face or run brick-and-mortar businesses, cards with your discount code and print materials about our products are available free of charge.
