We sustainably harvest our tulip poplar bark from coppices during spring in the 1st or 2nd year of growth. Despite relative lack of widespread familiarity, tulip poplar is one of our favorite herbs here in the forest! It is a complex, intriguing agent with a very dry, cool, activating energy despite a spicy scent.

Why topical use only? State and federal regulations require products for human consumption to be produced in a certified commercial kitchen. While we strive for the highest production standards, we do not maintain a commercial kitchen.
