Harvesting pressure from commercial foraging in both the herbal and culinary industries has made h. americanum a rarer sight; which is why we harvest from our outdoor log-cultivated population. This gives you the best of both worlds: All the benefits of wild-foraged mushrooms, but from a secure population that spreads spores to the rest of the forest!
