This beautiful poster was designed by our very own Millie Amyx, featuring some of our favorite regional herbs in 5 colors! Each poster is a unique work of art printed one color at a time using hand-cut stencils.

Posters measure 11″ x 17″ and will be shipped in cardboard tubes. Posters and other items will ship separately.

NOTE: Hopefully, it goes without saying that a few brief words are not enough information to inform responsible herbalism! This work of art is not intended to serve as an herbal reference or field guide.

Did you know that there are over 1,000 medicinal plant species native or endemic to southern appalachia? The print series Medicinal Herbs of Southern Appalachia seeks to represent a mix of plants that are familiar to modern herbalists as well as ones that are seldom used outside of bioregional and Indigenous practices. We hope these works will inspire Appalachians to learn more about the cornicopia of active plants in our area and appreciate the rich medicinal ecology of our region.
